Our Catholic faith offers the answers to life's most important questions - why we're here, what we're living for, and where we're ultimately going.
Through renewing our faith, growing closer to Christ, and sharing His love with those around us, we can begin to transform our lives, our families, and our communities.
The problems in our society seem enormous and beyond the ability of any individual to fix, but many good and faithful Catholics want to do something.
And we are not powerless.
God has a purpose, a mission, for each one of us. Faithful Christians are called to live their faith in deep and profound ways.
Catholic Gathering grew out of a desire to provide a place where Catholics can engage in faithful and informed conversations about our lives, our families, and our society. Through books, podcasts, and more, we hope to jumpstart discussion about how faithful Catholics can change the world. So grab a cup of coffee and join us!
Hi, I'm Fred Vilbig!
As a dad of 11, I know how challenging it can be to raise a family and live our Catholic faith in a world that seems to grow more chaotic every day.
But I also believe that now, more than ever, we need to rediscover what really matters - our relationship with God, our eternal purpose, and the incredible gift of our Catholic faith.
That's why I wrote Leave No Soul Behind: A Catholic Handbook, a guide to renewing our faith through Scripture, the teachings of the Church, and the lives of the Saints. My newest book, The Pursuit of (True) Happiness, takes a closer look at life's ultimate purpose through the Four Last Things - Death, Judgment, Hell, and Heaven - and explores why lasting happiness can only be found in God.
Through Catholic Gathering and my books, I hope to inspire others to deepen their faith, grow closer to Christ, and help bring those around them along on the journey.
